Expression of Interest for Pathways Development coaches for the Outback Pathways Program as part of the Elite Academy.

Want to take your coaching to the next level or dreamed of coaching as part of a National Team? Are you passionate about developing the next generation of National Team Athletes whilst developing your skills and knowledge as a coach?

Want to be mentored by some of the most experienced and successful Coaches to have coached Outback teams?

This is an opportunity for coaches to develop their skills whilst being part of a National Program with the potential for national and international tours.

The Pathways program has been set up to develop 14 to 17 year old players to the be ready to take their football to next level. Whilst working and developing their own skills and knowledge as coaches as part of the program. Coaches will also be expected to work with players in groups and one on one with a focus on improving skill, techniques, football IQ.

Coaches will be working with both male and female athletes under the age of 18 and as such will be required to have a valid working with children card for the state they are located in and must be working towards the completion of the Gridiron Australia Coaching Framework courses. These coaches will also have access to other National Teams Coaches as mentors. It is expected that these coaches make themselves available for potential tours interstate or overseas later in the year or next year (dependent on covid restrictions).

2. How do you think the pathways program will help to help you develop and improve as a coach.
3. The Pathways Program motto is “it’s not about winning or losing , it’s about getting better each day” what does this mean to you.
